Alan Alexander (April 1936 - 16 October 1996) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life[edit]
His father was Walter Flockhart Niven Alexander (born 1905) in Morningside, Edinburgh.
His mother was Agnes Stuart Mabon (born 1906) in Morningside, Edinburgh. They married in Musselburgh on 2 January 1928.[2]
Alan Mabon Alexander was born in Morningside, Edinburgh in c. 15-18 April 1936.[3]
Art[edit]
He was on the staff at the Edinburgh College of Art.[5]
Death[edit]
He died on 16 October 1996 in Edinburgh. He was cremated on 18 October 1996.[6]
