Vincent Balfour-Browne (30 May 1880 - 9 April 1963) was a Scottish painter.[1]

Life[edit]

His father was John Hutton Balfour-Browne (13 September 1845 - 27 September 1921) was an eminent lawyer from Dumfries.[2][3]

John Hutton married the third daughter of the Right. Hon. Lord Justice Robert Lush, Caroline Emma Lush (1848 - 23 July 1927).[4] They married on 14 March 1874 in St. Paul's in Hampstead, London.[5]

Vincent Balfour-Browne was born on 30 May 1880 at 88 Claverton Street in London.[6]

Death[edit]

He died on 9 April 1963 in Dumfries. The church service was at St. John's Church in Dumfries on 12 April 1963.[7]
