Alexander Stuart Boyd (7 February 1854 - 21 August 1930) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life[edit]
His father was Alexander Boyd.
His mother was Janet Mathieson.
Alexander Stuart Boyd was born in Glasgow on 7 February 1854.
He married Mary Rennie Wilson Kirkwood (15 October 1860 - 28 July 1937) from Govan, in 1880.
He was a journalist and magazine illustrator; he worked for Punch magazine.

He died on 21 August 1930 in Takapuna, North Shore, Auckland, New Zealand.
He is buried in Waikumete Cemetery, Glen Eden, Auckland.[2]
