Nina Anderson (6 November 1869 - 6 June 1931) was a Scottish painter.

Life[edit]

Her father was William Anderson (25 August 1804 - 6 August 1869), a grain dealer and grocer, from Mortlach in Banffshire.

Her mother was Elizabeth Hamilton (c. 1828 - 6 November 1900) from Greenock. William and Elizabeth married on 16 April 1850 in Greenock. Elizabeth was his second wife, his first Marjory Hossack (born 1810) died after her sixth child was born.

Robertina Anderson, known as Nina, was born in Greenock on 6 November 1869.

She became a cooking teacher.

Death[edit]

She died in Greenock on 6 June 1931. Her usual address was 67 Union Street. The value of her estate was £928, 18 shillings and 3 pence.
