Peter S. Buchanan (17 February 1844 - 18 February 1918) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life[edit]
His father was Peter Buchanan (born c. 1810), an overseer in a cotton mill. poss[2]
His mother was Margaret Robertson.
Peter S. Buchanan was born on 17 February 1844 in Glasgow. At the time of his marriage he was staying at 34 Gladstone Street, Glasgow.
He married Sarah Richardson Gott (died 14 October 1917), daughter of William Gott, an inland revenue supervisor, on 13 February 1879 at her home in 28 Windsor Terrace, Glasgow.[6][7]
In 1891 he was in England.[8]
In 1901 he was in Wales.[9]
By 1911 he was in Wales.[10]
