Sarah Burn-Murdoch (9 April 1860 - 22 January 1929) was a Scottish painter.[1]

Her father was William Burn-Murdoch (9 November 1822 - 12 April 1878), a doctor from Edinburgh.
Her mother was Jessie Cecilia Mack (1830 - 9 May 1891) from Glasgow. William and Jessie married on 25 July 1850 in Edinburgh.
Sarah Jessie Cecilia Burn-Murdoch was born on 9 April 1860 in Edinburgh.
Her brother William Gordon Burn Murdoch became an explorer, travel writer and artist.
