Elizabeth Molyneaux (12 August 1887 - 12 March 1969) was a Scottish painter.[1]

Life[edit]

Her father was John Molyneux (1854 - 20 February 1902). He was a trade manager for the Religious Tract and Book Society of Scotland.

Her mother was Jean Lawrie Anderson (9 March 1861 - 17 August 1942).

Bessie Gowanlock Molyneaux was born in St. Andrew Parish, Edinburgh.

She was classed as an artist and teacher in an Edinburgh electoral register of 1918.

Art[edit]

In 1915 she exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy her work: The Yard, Dalorie Farm.[2]

Death[edit]

She died on 12 March 1969.
