Victorine Buttberg (24 May 1904 - 10 December 1996) was a Scottish painter.[1]
Life[edit]
Her father was Albert Victor Buttberg (18 March 1870 - 1948), an artist from London. Albert was the son of Ferdinand Buttberg, a German photographer, and his wife Katharine.
Her mother was Jessie Muir Barr (1871 - 1965) from Uplawmoor, East Renfrewshire. Albert and Jessie married on 21 August 1894 in Glasgow.
Victorine Buttberg was born on 24 May 1904 at 4 St. Patrick Square, Edinburgh, one of 4 sisters.

She died on 10 December 1996 in Liberton Hospital in Edinburgh.[2]
