Anne Cornock-Taylor (10 August 1916 - 30 January 2000) was a Scottish painter.[1]

Life[edit]

Her father was Clive Cornock Taylor (28 April 1886 - 11 January 1962), a stockbroker clerk from Kingston in Surrey, England.

Her mother was Kathleen Crofton Shackle (born c. 1894) from Uxbridge, Middlesex. Clive and Kathleen married on 6 October 1915 in South Kensington, London.

Anne Pauline Cornock-Taylor was born on 10 August 1916 in Wandsworth, London.

Art[edit]

Anne moved to Glasgow in 1936.[2]

She was a member of the New Scottish Group.[3]

Death[edit]

She died on 30 January 2000. Her last address was 48 Sandy Lane, Richmond, Surrey.[4]
