Lilian Cowan-Douglas (14 November 1895 - 21 January 1984) was a Scottish painter.[1]

Life[edit]

Her father was Robert William Cowan-Douglas (4 April 1861 - 10 August 1934) from Glasgow.

Her mother was Isabella Margaret Balloch (29 February 1861 - 21 July 1850) from Partick, Glasgow.

Lilian Horsburgh Cowan-Douglas was born in Beaverdam, Alberta, Canada.

Death[edit]

She died on 21 January 1984 as marked on her gravestone.[2]

The Scotsman newspaper of 23 January 1984 reported her death as the 20 January 1984, in a Sussex nursing home and her cremation was in Chicester.[3]
