Ailsa Craig (12 July 1895 - 5 April 1967) was a Scottish painter.[1]

Life[edit]

Her father was William Thomson Craig (16 March 1861 - 9 February 1933), a solicitor from Innerwell in Wigtownshire.

Her mother was Margaret Alexander McTurk (April 1867 - 18 August 1948) from Crance, Leicestershire in England.

Ailsa Margaret Craig was born on 12 July 1895 in Dumfries.

Death[edit]

She died on 5 April 1967 in Stirling. She was buried in Logie Cemetery on 7 April 1967.[2]
