Dorothy Gardner (15 May 1832 - 12 June 1926) was a Scottish weaver. She won the Lauder Prize in 1936 for her hand loom weaving.[1]

She exhibited in the 1930 Scottish Society of Woman Artists exhibition.[3]

She exhibited in the United Crafts exhibition of 1936 in the McLellan Galleries.[4]

She won the Lauder Prize in 1936 for her hand loom weaving.[5][6]

She exhibited in the 1937 British Crafts exhibition in the McLellan Galleries.[7]

In the 1937 Glasgow Society of Lady Artists exhibition she exhibited hand-woven bags and scarfs.[8]

She was said to 'monopolise the field of weaving' in the 1938 GSLA exhibition.[9] She was one of five artists that exhibited in their collective GLSA exhibition of 1939.[10]

She exhibited in the 1940 GSLA exhibition.[11]
