John Murray Drummond (10 April 1803 - 15 May 1889) was a Scottish painter.[1] He was also the 8th Baron of Megginch.
Life[edit]
His father was the admiral Sir Adam Drummond (14 August 1770 - 3 May 1849) from Megginch Castle near Errol in Perthshire; the 7th Baron of Megginch.
His mother was Charlotte Murray (23 October 1775 - 31 May 1832) from Dunkeld; the daughter of the 4th Duke of Atholl.
John Murray Drummond was born on 10 April 1803 in London.
He married Frances Jemima Oswald (1818 - 22 December 1891) from Kirkcaldy.
