William Gallacher (11 November 1920 - 30 October 1978) was a Scottish artist.[1]
Life[edit]
His father was John Gallacher (25 August 1886 - 3 March 1949) from Paisley.
His mother was Violet Jane Mundie (born c. 1890). They married in 1919.
William Gallacher was born in 11 November 1920 in New York when his parents were in the United States, and he was raised in Paisley.[2]
He married the artist Nita Begg (13 November 1920 - 21 August 2011) in December 1949.[3]
His uncle was the Red Clydesider and politician Willie Gallacher.
