History[edit]

The Moray School of Art is one of Scotland's newest Art Schools. It claims one of the highest staff to student ratios of any Art School in the UK.[2]

It is the only semi-rural art school in Scotland as as such provides inspiration to students in this subject area.[3]

"Using a blend of teaching technologies, we deliver a range of courses from portfolio building to visual communications, alongside two undergraduate courses – BA (Hons) Fine Art and the unique BA (Hons) Fine Art Textiles."[4]

Victoria Art Building[edit]

This is the main exhibition space for both the Fine Arts Degree shows of the Moray School of Art; and for the lower diploma level Art and Design Exhibition Show of Moray College students.

Graduate opportunities[edit]

The Moray Arts Development Programme supports recent graduates with one-to-one mentoring, tailored workshops and one-to-one mentoring.[5]

Alumni Programme[edit]

The School of Art offers an alumni programme for graduates and other alumni of the Moray Art School. This offers opportunities including exhibitions, residencies and networking.[6]

The Alumni also get to select a winner from the Fine Arts Degree show as an Alumni Choice Award, which offers £250 to the lucky graduate.[7]
