Hi, my name is Alex, and I'm a sometimes frequent contributor to Wikipedia. I have made my fair share of edits here, trying to fix and add what I can.
My most notable contribution to Wikipedia is the creation of the MLB Postseason article series which was added this past summer. I decided to add an article series for it seeing how the NBA Playoffs, Stanley Cup Playoffs, and NFL Playoffs all had their their own article series but the MLB Postseason.
The first article I did for Wikipedia was that of the Main Art Theater. As someone who grew up in Metro Detroit his entire life, it saddened me when the Main Art closed in 2021, and demolished a year later. It was my favorite place to go in Royal Oak, and it was the theater that helped me get back into anime, as when Landmark Theaters owned the property, they used to have midnight showings of classic films, including anime films, as part of their Midnight Madness series. The first film I saw at the Main Art was Ghost in the Shell, and I also saw other anime there such as Perfect Blue, Akira, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, and Princess Mononoke. Which is why when I heard that it was scheduled to be demolished, I decided to add the page for the Main Art to remind myself and others of the memories I spent there.
I tend to add or edit articles for articles relating to Major League Baseball, anime, Michigan, and others.
