I am a PhD candidate at University of Texas at Arlington in the Transatlantic History program. My dissertation focuses on the movement to abolish captial punishment. Dr. Steven G. Reinhardt is my dissertation chairman. My master's thesis is entitiled, "Executioners: The Cutting Edge of Royal Power."

I was born at an early age, in Fort Worth, Texas. I attended Paschal High School, graduating in 1970.
