Hi, I'm Alfhild-anthro. I am a social scientist with interests in lots of things and expertise in some including southern African cultures and history, archaeology, Tibetan Buddhism, music, dance, undergraduate education, peace and reconciliation, civil rights/social justice in America. I am not at all tech-savvy, so I'm actually quite thrilled to be participating in this super-cool collaborative thing! I was worried for a long time about the fact that the internet seemed to have no quality controls -- that anyone could be anything and anything could appear to be "true" just because somebody said it was so on the web. But then I started learning how to edit a page and found that Wikipedia has all kinds of wonderful standards that make an academic like me happy. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity (I mean it)! Alfhild-anthro (talk) 04:12, 28 February 2015 (UTC)
