''My name is Amanda (known to many as Mandi) Lyn Toan and I am new transfer student from Ivy Tech Community College in Evansville, IN. I was born in Clearwater, FL but moved to southern Indiana at the young age of two years old. I am currently attending the University of Southern Indiana with an Undeclared major but emphasizing in Radio/TV Broadcasting and Theatre. I work full time as well as a freelance Actress and Film/TV Crew which usually requires me to travel and also requires me to take all my classes online. I have worked on many projects and even starred in a local commercial for 14WFIE. I have worked with many actors and actresses including the fabulous Jenn Gotzon who starred in the Academy Award nominated film Frost Nixon and will soon work with her again. I mainly travel throughout the Midwest (Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio) but will soon extend my travels to Los Angeles and New York. When I am not working on films I take on various temp jobs. Also when I am not working I am participating in local theatre shows and have been highly involved with the Evansville Civic Theatre group. You can usually find me working 3-4 jobs at a time along with taking courses full time.
Interests[edit]
Several of my interests all involve the arts. Film and Theatre are obvious interests of mine. Others include:

- reading

- working out
- hiking
- biking
- playing instruments (I play guitar, drums, piano, flute, harmonica and ukulele)
- dancing
- singing
- spending as much time with my family as possible.
