Andi Saleh

Raden Andi Bahtiar Saleh (born December 6, 1980) is a graphic and web designer residing in Palembang, Indonesia.

Biography

Andi is the second child and first son of Raden Muhammad Saleh and Badariah. He expressed interest in design since the age of 5 by making sketches and colorings of animals and people on drawing papers. In 1990 (when the family bought their first desktop PC), Andi started to develop interest towards computers, basically and mainly for computer games and also word processors which he learned by often watching his father work.

His father's career as a university professor and researcher also brought great influence on him and his siblings for obtaining similar pathways in fields of higher education. In 2003, after completing study and obtaining his bachelor's degree in engineering, Andi applied for the position of a computer instructor at Palcomtech, a computer training center in Palembang well known for it's full usage and integration of the e-learning system, which there he carried the subjects of digital imaging, animation and web design. Andi also gave short courses on internet and office automation. In 2004, Andi was promoted to head of the R&D division, mainly responsible for developing new courses and systems and conduct quality control. Andi resigned from Palcomtech one year later.
