The crap crop club - work in progress[edit]

A perfect demonstration of how obsession and incompetence can overcome aesthetics. Can anyone find portraits anywhere but Wikipedia that are cropped like this? With the top of the head barely inside, and the remaining borders determined by whatever is mandated by an arbitrary aspect ratio some random contributor wants to impose for consistency?

See [1] for context.

See [2] for where to find them. No idea how many of these there are.

Meh. Maybe an improvement, but not because arbitrary ratios are a good idea.

Yes, cropping the original is good. But not like this. Give the poor man a little headroom...
