David Alexanian is a French-Canadian novelist of Armenian/Iranian descent. He is the author of the Sword Demon Series which debuted in 2019 with the release of Laplace’s Demon. "SNAPD MARKHAM-Community EventsMedia". March 2021.


EARLY LIFE

David Alexanian was born in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. He is of French and Armenian/Iranian descent and is a first generation Canadian. He developed an interest in writing at a very early age. He studied biochemistry in University but ultimately became a successful entrepreneur and an Award-Winning Real Estate Broker before becoming a published author.


CAREER

David became inspired to write his first novel while sitting on a bench along the Seine in Paris, where he witnessed a young girl pull her tall, muscular father around. The man was powerless to resist the control of the tiny fingers. Form that, the Idea of Laplace's Demon was born. Published in 2019 by Mystic Publishers Inc., the premise of the story is a drop of Laplace’s innocent blood on an antique Samurai sword awakens a centuries old curse-a Japanese demon sworn to wreak havoc on this world. The seductive powers granted by the demon’s sword help Laplace cut a swath through the Paris underworld. But with the rising body count, the demon’s strength grows. Its desire for blood will never be quenched. And once Laplace loses himself completely, it will never be stopped

PERSONAL LIFE

David is a world traveler. He has looked upon the face of the Sphinx in Egypt, climbed the Great Wall of China, wandered the ruins of Angkor Wat, and visited the remains of the Oracle in Delphi. From Paris to Berlin, David and his laptop have sat in the marvelous cafes creating story after story. Though his field of study was biochemistry, David was possessed by the entrepreneurial spirit at a young age, opening his first cellular phone and pager company at the tender age of twenty-five. He has owned several companies and has also found success in Real Estate. Yet his true calling has always been writing. When not overtaken by wanderlust, David can be found at his home in the outskirts of Toronto or his cottage in PEI overlooking the ocean. Where ever he is, he is always with family and always writing.
