Alejandra Abaunza Poupel is a wedding entrepreneur and businesswoman in the events industry. She was born in Nicaragua on July 7th 1972 and raised in Miami where she was educated at the Catholic Epiphany School and later attended Our Lady of Lourdes High School. She attended University of Miami and did business courses in Georgetown University. In 1994, she married Maxime Poupel, a Frenchmen, and moved to Paris. In Paris, she studied art history at Christie's Education, followed by an art history course at École du Louvre. Alejandra Poupel speaks five languages. After her studies she started working at Christie's auction house in Paris^[1]. She then had her two daughters, Francesca and Gabriella Poupel. In 2013, she founded Alejandra Poupel Events based in Paris, France. She specializes in destination events with an international discerning clientele including aristocracy, fortune 500 and celebrities^[2]. Paris Match calls her “France’s wedding planner extraordinare”. She is the most sought after planner in France and considered a thought leader in her industry^[3].

Alejandra Poupel has been published and quoted in many periodicals such as Paris Match, Vogue France, Vogue Saudi Arabia, Vogue England, NBC Telemundo, Brides, Grace Ormonde^[4], Vanity Fair.
