Constance Savery

I have spent most of my time recently cleaning up Constance Savery, one of whose books was important to me as a child. That was long ago, and I am now a complacent, though occasionally grumbling, old man. Conflict of Interest Statement

I am not connected with Constance Savery except as a reader. Having written a 100,000-word scholarly biography of her life with over 800 references, principally to family correspondence, I quote that book in the Savery article. I understand that I can do this as an acknowledged authority on Constance Savery. Other candidates as Savery experts are Linda Long, who is responsible for the Savery papers at the University of Oregon; Ellen Ruffin, who is curator of the de Grummond Children's Collection at the University of Southern Mississippi, another repository of Savery material; Anne Manuel, librarian at Savery's alma mater, Somerville College; and Jeremy Hummerstone, Savery's literary heir. Project Harvest Moon

After reading an interesting paragraph in the Teahouse, I decided to see what I can find about Project Harvest Moon (1970-72) with the idea of creating a very short article. Duane Thompson

Two days ago, I had never heard of Duane Thompson, but I happened on her Wiki page accidentally and found no citations there. Since I have Newspaper accounts, I thought I would do what I could to add citations and a few additional facts. When I get back from a long weekend, I'll add a few more. It was pointed out to me that Paris Air Show has many missing years. Having access to newspaper accounts, I decided to add a few, beginning with 1967, the year that Charles de Gaulle opened the show. Aeris Naviter

The 2007 entry for the Paris Air Show mentions the Aeris Naviter AN-1 flying platform. To support this, I drafted a short article entitled Aeris Naviter.
