Anime

Anime is Japanese animation that is appreciated by millions of people around the world. It is known for its iconic style that can be recognized at a glance. The characters can be easily recognized by their unique eyes and hair. The eyes are of different shapes and the hair is of different colors. Many Anime are based on Manga which are Japanese comics. There are many genres but this article is focusing on adventure/action anime. Though stereotypically, said to be for boys, it also has popularity among the other gender.

Dragon Ball

         One of the most famous ones would be the anime based on Shonen Jump manga.  These include the very popular Dragon Ball Z series, from which comes the characters, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and much, much more. Its manga was written by Takao Koyama.

Naruto

Then, there’s Naruto, written by Mashashi Kishimoto which takes us to the Ninja World with characters such as Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, etc.

One Piece

          These Anime shows the culture and traditions of Japan including its cuisine (the sushi, the ramen, etc.), its beliefs, its environment (the iconic Cherry Blossom), its past… It captures the soul of both the country and the fictional world that it takes place in. And it helped spread and popularize it throughout the world.
