Fitness Blender is an online fitness company that was formed on June 25, 2009 by a husband and wife team of personal trainers, Daniel and Kelli Segars. Currently, the company has one of the largest social media followings in the fitness industry, with over 5 million subscribers on YouTube alone. Fitness Blender provides free access to over 550 individual workout videos, which cover a wide range of exercise styles, including pilates, kickboxing, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), strength training, etc.

The company's founders, Daniel and Kelli, are known for their simple, straight-forward style, which has resonated with their global audience, approximately half of which is from outside of the United States. When the company was formed, the goal was to provide simple, accessible workout videos - mainly for people who could not afford the cost of a gym membership or high-priced "celebrity" workouts. While it took years for the couple to turn a profit, "their authenticity and their solid coaching started getting noticed on YouTube"Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). and their following grew.

As Fitness Blender's reach and content grew, the structure of the company remained virtually the same, with Daniel and Kelli working out of their home in the Pacific Northwest and filming workout videos in their garage, which they converted to a studio. According to the Wall Street Journal, [t]hey also began sharing more of themselves through their website and social media. Ms. Segars choked up as she spoke of her struggle with an eating disorder, and the couple has slammed photoshopping and body-shaming."Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). Their simple approach and willingness to open up about their own personal struggles has led to a close connection with their audience.
