Usman Ullah Khan was born on September 29, 1974 in Faisalabad, Pakistan. He is fifth in the family of ten siblings. Born and raised by his proud father Aman Ullah Khan, a wrestler, during his younger days. His elder brothers are into Badminton and Basketball while Usman and three younger brothers are into the Boxing (Rizwan Ullah Khan and Khizran Ullah Khan) and Cricket (Faizan Ullah Khan).
He studied and graduated from New Model High School and M. D College for secondary and tertiary levels, respectively. He started from humble beginnings. He used to work in steel mills on boxing basis and eventually hired by WAPDA (Water & Power Development Authority) as a boxer from 1996 until 2000.
He has achieved a lot of recognitions both in national as well as international arena. All of these would not be possible without the guidance of MALIK JAMEEL AKTAR, who trained him in the early days of his boxing career and whom he considers as a second father in his life, ISHFAQ AHMAD, who acted as his main coach and encouraged him to join in different competitions, MIAN NAZEER AHMAD and CHAUDRY ISMAIL, who financially supported his trainings, ALI AKBAR SHAH (Pakistani) and RAFAEL RAMALIS ELIAS (Cuban), were the ones who motivated him in achieving his goals as a professional boxer and MAJOR ABDUL RASHID who encouraged him to participate in the International competitions.
He has represented Pakistan in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, USA and in the 2000 Summer Olympics held in Sydney, Australia. He has won in several competitions, both amateur and professional levels, which made him qualified for the Olympic Games.

His continuous desire to equip himself further with boxing techniques prompted him to move to USA where he had the chance later on to train more boxers in Diamond Gym in Queens, New York. Currently, he is in Dubai and still very much active in boxing training. He imparts his boxing techniques to his students who are mostly from different walks of life and nationalities. But, “The Coach” never stops. His ultimate objective in life is to hone aspiring professional boxers to represent in the international arena and to have his own Sports Academy in his motherland, Pakistan. Apart from his achievements as a professional boxer, he was awarded a certificate by UNESCO for rendering community services both in New York, USA and United Arab Emirates. He has a strong advocacy in the preservation, restoration and improvement of the natural environment.
