the rise and fall (and rise again) of chokers

chokers are a sub-catergory of jewelry that rose in popularity in the 1900s because of queen alexandra. chokers remained quiet but stiil ever-present. the style of chokers died out but then came back in the early 90s as plastic contraptions that were sold for about a dollar each. it slowly died in popularity as it came SURGING back in the 2010s. these chokers were either plastic, fabric, or a hybrid of both.the trend does not seem like it will die soon
