Innovations and Technology[edit]

Miyazawa is regarded as a leader in flute making technology.(needs independent reference) Innovations include a completely drop forged key mechanism[1], flat bottom key cups for consistant sealing[2], and the use of computer-monitored microwave energy in lieu of a traditional flame for soldering, which provides greater strength and longevity to the solder points[3]. Miyazawa flutes feature the revolutionary (use more neutral words) Brogger System which is the most advanced (says who? in which sense most advanced? independent reference is necessary) version of the Brogger mechanism.
