Biography[edit]

Rasheed co-wrote and produced two of Tupac Shakur’s most well known songs: "Only God Can Judge Me" and “I’d Ratha Be Ya _____", both appearing on "All Eyez On Me,” the first rap double album.

Rasheed co-wrote Megan Thee Stallion’s smash hit single ”B.I.T.C.H.” He also co-wrote and co-produced Montell Jordan's follow-up Gold single "Somethin' 4 Da Honeyz" from Jordan's double platinum album "This Is How We Do It." Rasheed remixed the "Babyface" written Brandy single "Sittin' Up In My Room" from the Motion Picture Soundtrack "Waiting To Exhale" incorporating the dynamic performance of rap-sensation LL Cool J. His version of the song catapulted the single to the top of the charts and double-Platinum status. He also remixed the double-platinum single “Somebody Bigger Than You and I” by Whitney Houston featuring New Edition and Bobby Brown from the Motion Picture Soundtrack “The Preacher’s Wife.” The multi-faceted producer also co-wrote and produced the song “Knocked Nekked From The Waist Down” by Jaime Foxx featuring the legendary Dolemite from the film “The Great White Hype.”

Rasheed co-wrote with Barry White on the song "Which Way Is Up" from the album "Staying Power" and the incomparable Chaka Khan on her single “Will You Love Me”, appearing on ”Funk This” which went on to win a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album.
