Arisha Sozer, more commonly known as Begum Khokha by the people who know and admire her work, is an aspiring political candidate standing up for Lahore’s 2018 mayoral elections.

Begum Khokha as she has been named for her tenacity and approachability, which is manifested by her frequent trips to the streets of Lahore and Town Khokhas(small shops), aims to represent the voice of common people in the highest office. She believes the right of common people, especially women, have been undeservedly ignored for a very long time. She intends to turn Lahore into a place that is truly a home for everyone living in it, regardless of their class and gender.
