Hi there! Isn't Wikipedia the greatest? If you see anything wrong, you can instantly correct it! Not a lot of places where you can do that, are there? (I've met soooo many researchers, students, scientists, teachers and engineers who didn't realize ANYONE can edit!) Sure, it might be frustrating for some people not to be able to include original research, even what they've seen with their own eyes, but I've watched dedicated Wikipedians go to the trouble of writing quality articles elsewhere for publication, so that Wikipedia can have a readily available pool of information to draw upon. Can't beat it!

I'm a gnome who gets a huge kick out of fixing minor little things around here (especially the English and French versions), since they add up to big things overall, and I'm gradually branching out to some of the bigger modifications too - fun stuff!

Some users think it might improve Wikipedia to make people register before editing, to save our awesome volunteers countless years of anti-vandalism efforts, but I haven't quite made up my mind - what do you think??

Thanks to everyone for helping to perfect one of the most important online projects in human history!
