Maurice Bourquin is an experimental particle physicist and served as the President of the CERN Council from January 2001 to January 2002 and its Chairman.[1][2][3][4] He has worked at various particle physics facilities such as CERN, DESY, BNL, Fermilab in different domains like kaon decays, high transverse momentum leptons, hyperon decays and interactions, electron-positron interactions.[2][5]
