JOHNATHAN LEE MILLER[edit]

Johnathan Lee Miller (born Johnathan Lee Murphy, March 2, 1975) is a resident of Springfield, Missouri. He was born Hahira, Georgia to Carolyn Inette Murphy. His biological father is unknown. He was adopted by John D. & Faye B. Miller, of Moultrie, Georgia in 1977. His last name changed in accordance to the adoption. A half brother, John D. Miller, Jr. (born October 12, 1976), was adopted at the same time. He has a brother (Carl E. Jenkins, born September 12, 1977), and a sister (Lisa M. Allegood, born October 7, 1978), whom he met in 1991, that were not adopted with him.

In April 1993, he moved from Moultrie to Fort Scott, Kansas. He returned to Moultrie in January 1994, then back to Fort Scott the following June. He married Kristy A. Ayers on July 23, 1994. Their daughter, Kristin Sabree, was born October 3, 1994. The couple was divorced on May 10, 1996.

He unofficially adopted his best friend's (Vonda K. Payne) son, Nicholas Ryan Payne (born November 9, 1990) as his own in 1995.

Johnathan moved to Sherwood, Arkansas in March 1999. In July 1999, he took up residence in Fayetteville, Arkansas. After which, he lived in Carthage, Missouri from August 2000 to August 2001, when he moved to Springfield, Missouri. He resided briefly in O'Fallon, Missouri from March-November 2004, when he returned to Springfield, MO.

Out & Proud[edit]

Johnathan came out of the closet as a gay man in 1995. He had a commitment ceremony with Nathan D. Reynolds (whom he met in July 2002) on February 14, 2004. This relationship terminated on November 24, 2004 due to irreconcilable differences.

In March 2006, he began dating Jeremiah K. Wiggins. On August 22, 2006, they exchanged vows and rings in a private midnight ceremony at Lake Springfield.

He attended primary school in the Colquitt County school district, in southern Georgia.
