My name is Thomas Brody. I am a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I have a doctoral degree in Immunology from the University of California at Berkeley.

I work at The National Institutes of Health and have, for the last 15 years, curated The Interactive Fly, a cyberspace guide to Drosophila development and metazoan evolution.

I work in the Neural Cell-Fate Determinants Section of NINDS in Bethesda, MD. My current effort in the laboratory is to identify enhancer elements involved in regulation of Drosophila neural precursor cell determinants. I have collaborated in creating two programs to analyze enhancers, EvoPrinter and cis-Decoder.
