BruceR is the Wikipedia contributor's name and online cognomen for Bruce Rolston.

Bruce Rolston is a Toronto writer and public relations manager. Born on June 10, 1969 in London, England, he grew up in Deep River, Ontario. He attended Mackenzie High School and then the University of Toronto, where he received a history baccalaureate. While at U of T, he worked as editor of the Varsity, Canada's largest-circulation university newspaper.

Leaving Toronto after graduation, Rolston worked as editor of the North Renfrew Times, his home-town paper. He then moved back to Toronto, working briefly at the Toronto Star before taking a job with the University of Toronto's department of public affairs. There he has worked in a variety of positions, including editor of the University of Toronto Bulletin, Canada's largest-circulation university staff newspaper.

Rolston has frequently written about the computer gaming industry, for Computer Games magazine and other periodicals. He has had a lifelong affiliation with the Canadian Forces. His weblog, Flit, covers military and journalistic issues from a Canadian perspective.
