Hello!

My name is Bryce, I am a software engineer in Chicago. My main focus is on performance optimization. I spend a lot of time reading about micro-architectural details of processors (mostly those in the x86 family). There is a lot of information that is discovered experimentally but not published in a traditional way so my hope is that I can make that info easier to learn about by referencing those sources on Wikipedia. It seems like there are quite a few inconsistencies between pages on processors and microarchitectures that I may wish to fix first. It’s been a long time since I edited Wikipedia (and I was quite young at the time) so please leave me a message if you have any feedback, questions about why I did something, or anything else.

I used to edit under the username User:Hungryce when I was much younger but I have permanently retired that account now that I am more mature. I’d generally like to move on from that history which is why I created a new account rather than renaming but I’d like to be transparent about my past.
