James W. Pickens is an American author, speaker, and former real estate agent. His books have sold over 20 million copies worldwide.[1]
Early life[edit]
Pickens attended the the University of Colorado.
He was in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969 where he reached the rank of Captain (U.S. Army) as a gunship pilot. He was awarded four Air Ribbons and the Bronze Star for Valor.
Career[edit]
In 1970 Pickens was an early starter in the timeshare industry which made him a multimillionaire at a young age.
