Carly Ozard is a Multi-Coastal American Entertainer. She is a powerhouse vocalist with followings in San Francisco, New York City, and Puerto Vallarta. Her specialties are in Musical Theatre, Rock, and Cabaret performance. Her influences range from Freddie Mercury, Linda Ronstadt, RuPaul, and Bette Midler, to name a few. She identifies as Genderqueerwith a heterosexual orientation, while expressing a more non-gender, Neutrois existence.

Carly Ozard was adopted in Santa Ana, CA and raised by her parents Steven and Nancy in Belmont, CA. She grew up severely bullied by peers and made a decision to follow her passion of music and live performance with the hopes that it would be her ticket to a land of acceptance. The intention behind each performance is not only to tell a story but to relay authentic positive messages to reach her audiences. San Francisco and more specifically, the  [District],is home. Active in volunteering, Carly Ozard produces benefits for many HIV/AIDS Charities. She is a regular musical guest in the RIchmond Ermet AIDS Foundation appearing beside such luminaries as Rita Moreno, Maureen McGovern,Bruce Vilanch[Wash]and many more highly regarded musical artists. From 2010-2014 Carly Ozard had a residency with the Rrazz Room at the Nikko, and presently continues to perform yearly at Feinstein's at the Nikko. Ms. Ozard has participated in Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas with The Lamplighter's as well as having been part of several shows with 42nd St. Moon. Her favorite roles to date are Nettie Fowler in [[1]] with The Lamplighters, Old Mother Hare in [Golden Apple]with 42nd St. Moon, and lastly, Margo Schmetterling in The Untamed Stage with the The Thrillpeddlers originating music by original Cockette,   Scrumbly Koldewyn

From 2009-2013, Ms. Ozard suffered a laryngeal injury that affected her voice and her singing ability. Struggling for years to make it through shows onstage, she lost her voice completely in 2013, right before moving to New York City. After much despair, her final attempt to gain her sound back was rewarded when faculty-guest-artists/voice-instructors/ Maestro Bill Schumantook her as a student and developed Carly's new voice, turning her into a dramatic soprano, high belter, ready to go out for all vocal opportunities. Carly's gratitude to Broadway entertainer Karen Mason for the introduction to Mr. Schuman will live on forever in every opportunity she obtains.

With her new skills, Ozard went on to originate roles with the New York Theatre Barnand continues to perform at Birdland, The Friar's Club, The Stonewall Inn, 54 Below, Don't Tell Mama, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Duplex and Stage72 at the Triad. In 2014, Carly began coaching with Broadway Actress and comic Kristine Zbornik and in 2015, Ozard met acclaimed actress and impersonator Christine Pedi and joined Pedi onstage in a Tribute to Sophie Tucker in upstate New York. She credits both women as Broadway and theatre and comedy inspirations towards her work. Carly also works closely with career coach Camille Barbone and is working on the necessary goals to get to the next platform of her performance career.

In 2014 Carly made her maiden voyage to the Playa in Black Rock City. Falling in love with the idea of Burning Man, Carly has since written five Electric Dance Music about her experiences there, and continues to pursue the EDM and songwriting avenues alongside her other ventures. An ordained minister, Carly marries all faiths and orientations on Playa and off, and is available for any non-denominational ceremonies.
