Chalmers was born on Thursday, March 24th 1994 to Stephanie Adlaf and Daniel Chalmers. Her mother is a warehouse manager and her father is a truck driving business owner. She has one half brother named Wes. She was raised as a Roman Catholic. On her mother's side she is Croatian and German, and on her father's side she is Irish. Caysi was born in Mount Forest, Ontario and grew up in Mississauga, Ontario. In her school career she was always involved in swimming, base-ball and the dramatic arts. She currently attends University of Toronto.
