I am interested in a few principles: articles should not gossip or speculate about things that cannot be proven; articles should not use sources which may have an agenda; articles should not use one trivial incident in a person's life to denigrate them; articles should be not go on and on about the "actions" of fictional characters. Almost every edit I make refers to these four concerns. In addition, I'd like to point out (to whoever may be reading) that edits to articles are not cause for losing one's temper and attacking the editor. Assume good faith. Read the concerns on talk and take a few seconds to consider the validity of an argument. Wikipedia articles are not carved in stone; no one will publish the articles in book form since too many people can claim copyright. Changing content is not an affront to your ego, or and attack on "your" article. Be open minded to the ideas of others.
