I am an advocate of anglicisation, metrification, law harmonisation, 24 hour clock (and ISO 8601 in general as opposed to local date and time notations) and any other reasonable standardisations that empower global communication and trade. I like sowing as much links in Wikipedia articles as possible (even red ones ;)), silently believing that it may help machines "understand" content in future (semantic Web?).
