Notiosoricini is a tribe of red-toothed shrews in the subfamily Soricinae composed of two extant genera, Notiosorex and the monospecific Megasorex. There are also two extinct fossil general known, Hesperosorex and Beckiasorex. Between the two extant genera, there are five extant species described. Unlike other soricine shrews, the Notiosoricini are unknown outside of the Americas.[3]
