Sarnia Celebration of Lights new article content ... The Sarnia Celebration of Lights was started in 1984 with a small commitee and with 5 Displays & 5000 Lights in Cenntenial Park on Sarnia's Waterfront But over the Years bigger displays started to fill the park growing the number of displays to 160 and over 50,000 Lights Each Year the Sarnia Celebration of Light has a Opening Night in November which is sponsored by Transalta Energy in which it is a fun night with Horse Trolley Rides,Firework in Sarnia Bay,Musical Entertainment from Dean Holtz and New Horizon Community Church,Santa Claus,Free Cake and the Lights going on at 7:00pm Also The Sarnia Celebration of Lights has most of the displays retrofitted with Energy Saving LED Light Bulb thus lowering the power usage in the park
