Welcome to my user page. I am a mathematician (recently retired in 2001 after 35 years of university teaching and research in mathematics) and a musician (singer, conductor, composer/arranger, editor).
My interests in mathematics include (but are not restricted to) topology, algebraic K-theory, knot theory, category theory.
My interests in music include (but are not restricted to) early music, vocal and choral music, romantic music, twentieth century and modern music, polytonal music, organ building, double reeds, low brass, editing early music manuscripts, conducting and composing. I am an administrator at and President of the Choral Public Domain Library (ChoralWiki), where one may also find my composer page.
