Cid Carver, founder of The Internet Bakery, lives in Tel Aviv, Israel. Born December 9, 1988, and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Carver grew up with an entrepreneurial father. Her father, Randy Carver, started his own company in 1988, Carver Financial Services & Raymond James. Cid Carver, an only child, grew very independent traveling the country alone during high school to compete in equestrian completions, and eventually moving to Wellington Florida her last year of high school, where she competed nationally.

After high school, Carver attended Palm Beach Community College for a year and a half and then transferred to Suffolk University in January 2009. Carver was very involved during her time at university. She ran cross country for the university, attended the alternative winter break program to El Salvador with Habitat for Humanity and directed a film for the trip. She worked in the public affairs office as an intern, became a T.A. for two freshman seminars, wrote an honors thesis on social media, and spoke at Suffolk's 1st annual Education Technology Symposium and at Raymond James National conference on social media.

Upon graduation, Carver attended a Birthright Trip to Israel and never left. She made aliyah, worked for a year in two start ups and then moved on to create her own online media agency for social media strategy and marketing. Carver is currently also involved in the international community, volunteering as much as possible with Tel Aviv Internationals and White City Shabbat to help strengthen the international community in Tel Aviv. She was featured in a November 29, 2013 Jerusalem Post "Arrival" column.
