About Me[edit]
Hello. My name is Nick and I attend the University of Missouri (Columbia) studying Sports Management. A couple of my favorite hobbies of mine is playing sports such as baseball and basketball and working out. I also love to hang out with my family. Something unique about me is that I am a neat freak. I am always organized and always plan ahead. My favorite food is Mexican. I love tacos and burritos! My nickname that my friends call me is "Ciombino." It was my Xbox gamertag and it stayed as my nickname throughout high school.
Sports[edit]
I played high school baseball and basketball my whole life and really enjoyed all the memories I made in both sports. My favorite times were always the tournaments in both sports. I loved the competitiveness and compassion that I brought into both sports. I would say I loved playing basketball more. I grew up in a baseball family but basketball always stuck with me. I was always fast so basketball was fun because when I stole the ball from the opposing player I was always the fastest person to the hoop to score on and i felt invincible. One of my favorite basketball quotes was said by Allen Iverson in 2002 of him saying "We talkin' about practice." Allen Iverson an ROY in 1997, 11-time NBA All-Star, and MVP in 2001. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Baketball Hall of Fame in 2016.
Childhood[edit]
My childhood was not that bad. I am the sixth child in my family. I was somewhat spoiled and even babied. I loved to play video games and hang out with my siblings even know I was always annoying them. I loved watching Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon as a child. I used to go on https://www.cartoonnetwork.com/ and play the games on that website after watching the shows. My favorite show to watch was "Total Drama Island"
Total Drama Island was a "Survivor" based show but kid style and animated. I loved watching the characters compete in challenges and vote off each other per episode such as reality TV shows Big Brother and Survivor.
This "Wikipedia Project" that I am in the makings of developing had me thinking and brainstorming about what type of article do i want to correlate and get my inspirations from. I listed some of the links that I have been skimming through.
