Article review[edit]

I am a huge fan of European football, i grew up watching it as well as playing it. My love for football came naturally being born in a football family, having a dad who was a coach to three football teams i had no choice but to love it. Football is something that i take very serious, so would love for my football heroes to be well covered on Wikipedia. This influenced me to visit my all time favorite footballer Blaise Nkufo page on Wikipedia, and i thought some aspects needed a little more time dedicated toward them, the weak side of the article: its lack of citation, it not being updated and finally there are not enough information on past and future life of Nkufo.

Citations[edit]

The page has very few citations. And the citations that are given does not really support the facts that are being stated. This makes it really hard for a person like me who wants to get as much information as i can from my idol. It also makes it default for me to know if i should trust the citation because of lack of weak evidence provided on the citations site, unreliable sources. If the writer of the article provided more reliable sources then the article would of been a good article.

up to date[edit]

It seem like since the website was published there are not much updates that have happened to the site. This weaken the article by not having relevant information. Updating web sites helps it stay up to date like this article does not mention Nkufo's future, after retirement. Nkufo after his retirement he went on and became a coach for a youth club called the Fc-tigers-vancouver.

Past and future life[edit]

There was very little if anything that talked about how he got to the level that he was on before retirement. This type of information is what a fan would be interested in reading, to see if they can sort of fall in his footsteps. For people to really understand the story of Nkufo they need to know his past very well. Nkufo was born in a very poor country in Africa, maybe this had an influenced on his decision of becoming a footballer.

Summary[edit]

After going through the article, I'd give it a 4 out of 10. They were able to give a quick summary about Nkufo, but failed to provide strong citations. The writer of the article made it hard for the readers to tell weather the information that were given were reliable due to lack of citation and very little information given. There are missing information that could of made the article better if they were included.
