From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
My signature depicts red clover like in this photograph. The symbol after my signature is a four-leaf clover.

Hi, I'm Clovermoss. My username is a combination of the words clover and moss. My name in real life is Hannah Clover. You can use either half of my name if you wish. I have a slight preference for Clover because it is also an shortened form of my username and the average person is more likely to know you're talking about me if you say that. I am willing to listen to feedback so please let me know if I've made a mistake. I don't want anyone to feel like their concerns are ignored and I will always do my best to address them. I promise to seriously reflect if it's nessecary. Constructive advice is always welcome, but please be civil about it. I'm also willing to listen to arguments that counter my own. I may not always agree with you, but I'm always willing to hear you out.

I created my account on September 16, 2018. A lot of my edits have involved fixing typos, creating redirects, and adding short descriptions; although I've shown some interest in content creation. I've created a few articles but I'm also interested in improving ones that are started by others. I'm not particularly impressive in my content contributions but I did manage to write a GA once: Katherine Hughes (activist). My long-term goals are improving content related to the Niagara Region and the history of Jehovah's Witnesses. My hometown is Niagara Falls and I was raised as a JW, so that's where those interests stem from. My interest in different activities comes in waves – some days I'm more interested in content or gnomery or backroom stuff – but that's the beauty of having so much to do here. :)

If you ever have questions about anything, feel free to ask me and I'll do my best to help.

If you would like to sign my guestbook, you can do so here.

Conflict of interest declarations

Subjects in which I may have a conflict of interest are:

Contributions to the Signpost

[edit]

I used to collaborate with Pine for the weekly What's Making You Happy This Week? emails to the wikimedia-L mailing list and the associated Signpost feature: On The Bright Side.

Meetups I've attended

Other stuff

[edit]
  • User subpages: Editor reflections (feel free to contribute!), bling, content, to-do list, sandbox and meta.
  • Wikipedia:Backlog – There are a lot of backlogs, especially in regards to content issues. Category:All unreferenced BLPs has 687 articles, although a lot of the articles there technically have sources in an external link or two that would disqualify the article from WP:BLPPROD. I'd like to bring more awareness to it and my userpage seems like the perfect place to do so. Category:Articles lacking sources has 82,700 articles.
  • My RfA and the related BN thread. If you ever have any concern(s) about my admin actions, or my actions in general, please feel free to talk to me about it. I'm always willing to listen to feedback. I have written an essay about my experience with RfA here. I also successfully nominated Elli and Significa liberdade. Three weeks of RfA is stressful enough for one year so I think I'm going to take a break from nominating anyone barring exceptional circumstances.
  • Read this to learn more about me and what I've done. I also happen to have a wikidata entry and a category on Wikimedia Commons.
