Cody David Snider (born August 1, 1984 in Colorado Springs, Colorado) is an American software engineer, best known for his work in web application development and embedded systems. Prior to his career in software development, Snider was a sous chef with short-lived employment as an umpire, CNC machinist and busker.

Snider was born on August 1, 1984, to David Arnold Snider and Vicki Rae Snider. His parents are of Norwegian and Swedish decent. His father was an electrical technician and his mother was a hardware QA specialist.
